Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive
The Domestic RHI Scheme
The Government Renewable Heat Incentive started life on 9th April 2014.
The RHI is a financial incentive designed to encourage the uptake of home owners renewing their heating system to a more energy efficient way of heating their home and providing hot water.
The RHI could be reduced at any time, act now and don’t miss out.
The payments will be made quarterly for seven years and should cover a significant proportion, if not all, of the initial installation costs.
Since there is a finite pot of money available for the RHI payments, it is likely the current tariffs will get smaller over time (much like the solar Feed-in Tariff). Therefore, if you are considering installing renewable heating technology, it is worth moving quickly to ensure you get the highest payment rate!
Turn light into power, once you have invested in Solar Photovoltaic Panels (Solar PV) you will become your own power station generating electricity to use within the business. This will reduce your electric bills for many years to come future proofing yourself against ever increasing energy bills.
Solar PV helps support your electric demand. Many businesses are open during the day when the sun is shining or we have daylight so solar PV panels could generate the power you need to run your business. You could even sell energy you generate back to the grid.
Our accredited installation teams are experts at installing solar PV for both domestic & commercial installations.
Book a free no obligation appointment for one of our energy surveyors to visit you at your business to see how we could help you.
Generate your own Electricity & Reduce Energy Bills
Solar PV work in daylight once the sun is up in the sky the only weather that solar panels don’t work in is low thick dense snow cloud or if they have a snow covering. Solar panels generate electric from a reaction when photons/sun radiation hits the panels the electric is transferred to the inverter that converts the electric from DC to AC then into consumer unit ready to be consumed within your property or be exported.
If feasibility and cost allow all businesses should be generating their own electric from solar panels, it really is a no brainer.
